Air quality
Ultra Low Emission Zone
First implemented in central London in April 2019 the ULEZ requires vehicles to meet new, tighter exhaust emission standards or pay a daily charge to travel within the ULEZ area. From 2021, the ULEZ area will include the inner London area bounded by the North and South Circular Roads.
