Multus raised £1.6 million to bring its first product to market.
Multus announced that they have raised £1.6 million to bring its first product to market.
Founded by Evan Whooley, Cai Linton, Réka Trón and Kevin Pan (pictured left to right), Multus is developing the key ingredient to make laboratory-cultivated meat affordable, scalable and profitable. The investment will help the team to put their first commercial product on the market and achieve their mission: to make cultivated meat the sustainable and affordable choice for everyone.
According to Multus, this latest round of funding allows their team to bring the first product to market. As an enabling technology for the cultivated meat industry, Proliferum M™ will allow companies to grow cost-competitive cultivated meat products as a viable alternative to industrial farming
